What one crew means

Every layer, same hands.

Most remodels get handed between four or five different outfits, and each one blames the last. Read this wall from the studs out, because that is the order Jaime builds it in, and every layer is his.

01FramingWalls, headers, openings, structural corrections
02Windows & doorsSet square, flashed and sealed so they close right
03Siding & exteriorLap, cedar, board and batten, soffit and fascia

Why that matters to you

You get one number to call. When the framer, the drywall guy and the trim carpenter are three different companies, every problem lands in the gap between them. Here there is no gap.

The finish gets planned at framing. Beam ceilings, built-ins and trim details only land clean when somebody thought about them before the walls closed up. That is the difference you can see in the photos.

One schedule, not five. Nobody sits waiting three weeks for the next trade to have an opening.

Services

What we take on.

Whole remodels, additions and outdoor living builds, or a single trade if that is all you need. Residential and light commercial, all over the metroplex.

01

Framing

New walls, additions, header and opening changes, plus structural repairs and corrections to work somebody else left wrong.

02

Finish trim & carpentry

Baseboard, casing, crown, exposed beams, built-ins, shelving and custom doors built to fit the opening you actually have.

03

Drywall

Hang, tape, float and texture. Patch work and full rooms, sanded flat so the paint does not tell on the wall.

04

Interior & exterior paint

Prep first, then cut in and roll. Caulked and filled before any color goes on, because that is what makes it last.

05

Flooring

Tile, hardwood, engineered and LVP. Subfloor leveled and prepped before the first plank or tile goes down.

06

Windows & doors

Replacements and new openings. Set plumb, flashed and sealed so you are not chasing drafts or water next season.

07

Siding

Cedar, lap, board and batten and fiber cement. Rotted board replacement, soffit, fascia and trim wrap.

08

Outdoor living

Pergolas, patio covers and privacy screens, built to handle Texas sun and hold up.

09

Full remodels

Kitchens, baths, additions and whole-house work run start to finish on one schedule with one point of contact.

Who you are hiring

15 years, still on the job site.

Jaime has been doing construction for at least 15 years, and he is the one who shows up. Not a salesman in a truck who hands you off to a crew you never met.

That is the whole reason the work looks the way it does. When the person who quoted the job is the same person setting the beams and cutting the casing, nothing gets lost in translation.

Straight answers on what a job takes, what it costs and how long it runs. If something falls outside what we do well, you will hear that too.

How it runs

Four steps, no surprises.

STEP 01

Call or send the form

Tell us what you are trying to get done. A few photos from your phone help a lot.

STEP 02

Walk the job

We come look in person. No quoting a remodel off a text message and changing the number later.

STEP 03

Written estimate

Scope, price and timeline in writing, so you know exactly what is included before anybody starts.

STEP 04

Build it

One crew, one schedule, start to finish. Site cleaned up at the end of the day, every day.

Common questions

Straight answers.

The things people ask before they call. If yours is not here, phone 972-809-6537 and ask.

What kind of construction work does ONAGAWI Construction LLC do?
Framing through finish trim, all in house. That covers framing, drywall, interior and exterior paint, flooring, window and door installation, siding, and finish carpentry including baseboard, casing, crown, exposed beams and built-ins. We also build outdoor structures: pergolas, patio covers and privacy screens. Whole remodels, additions and kitchen and bath work run the same way, and we will take a single trade if that is all you need.
What areas of DFW do you serve?
The whole Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. That includes Dallas, Fort Worth, Forney, Mesquite, Rockwall, Garland, Heath, Sunnyvale, Terrell, Balch Springs, Richardson, Plano, Irving, Arlington and McKinney. If your city is not listed, call anyway, we most likely cover it.
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Estimates are free and given in writing. We come walk the job in person rather than quoting off a text message, then send back scope, price and timeline so you know exactly what is included before anybody starts work.
How long has Jaime been doing construction?
At least 15 years. Jaime owns the company and works the jobs himself, so the person who quotes your project is the same person setting beams and cutting trim. There is no salesman handing you off to a crew you have never met.
Do you take small jobs, or only full remodels?
Both. A single room of flooring, a drywall patch, a few rotted siding boards or one replacement door are all fine. Whole-house remodels and additions run the same way, just on a longer schedule.
Why does using one crew for every trade matter?
Because most problems on a remodel happen in the gaps between trades. When the framer, the drywall crew and the trim carpenter are three separate companies, each one blames the last and you are the one chasing all of them. Running it with one crew means one schedule, one number to call, and finish details that get planned back at framing instead of improvised at the end.
How soon can you start?
It depends on what is already on the schedule and how big the job is. Call 972-809-6537, email [email protected] or send the form and we will tell you honestly where you would land, rather than promising a start date we cannot hold.
